Brand spot with soulful moments + dynamic movement, energetic transitions, and FPV drone

Director’s Notes

Kentucky’s rebrand demanded a new POV on a place we thought we knew.

For me, “Find What Moves You” had a literal commandment baked into it: Move the camera dynamically. It also had a metaphysical component: Find moments that move the soul.

I brought the literal to life by capturing the adrenaline and energy of the adventures — racetracks, waterfalls, rock climbing — moments where a dynamic, energetic camera work like FPV drone could take the spotlight.

The ethereal I found in the small details — twinkling stars, the joy of encountering a stallion for the first time, and in shared laughs around the campfire. In soulful moments the camera could take a beat, letting the experience wash over us.

On an outdoor adventure in Kentucky an African American man blows out a marshmallow around the campfire.
A curious asian eye peaks through a telescope at the stars at an observatory in Kentucky.
A boy and his family eagerly anticipate what adventures wait ahead as they enter the Kentucky Kingdom amusement park.
Two couples enjoy time around the campfire in Kentucky in front of their Nine Pines glamping tents.
Clive the Alien, a piece of installation street art, looms overhead in Covington, Kentucky.
A woman takes in the view from her Nine Pines glamping accommodations in Cadiz, Kentucky.

Deep inside each of us there’s a spark waiting to be ignited.
