Director’s Notes
When most people hear “Nevada,” they think of Las Vegas, gambling, shows, and the desert. But there’s an unexpected side to the Silver State. It has a hidden treasure chest of outdoor adventures and winter tourism.
As a director, revealing the unexpected side of Nevada as dream fantasy was extremely fun. It was a concept that begged for an elevated, filmic approach. To give everything a dreaming vibe, we shot most of the film at sunrise or sunset. It was also the perfect time of day to show off the giant landscapes. Through rich sound design and the mysterious tone of the music, the voice of Nevada’s mountains comes to life.
